Native iOS & Android depth included. I build and ship mobile systems in high-complexity brownfield environments — banking, retail, self-checkout — where reliability isn't optional.

Current Focus

I'm currently deep in high-complexity brownfield mobile — React Native paired with native iOS and Android — inside a banking app where every screen carries real financial risk. My focus going forward is internals: the bridge, JSI, and the old/new architecture, understood well enough to reason about performance rather than guess at it.

Approach

I work best once I understand the problem, not once I start typing. AI helps me explore and ship faster, but it doesn't replace the engineering judgment behind what gets built. My recent work has focused on high-complexity banking systems, building shared mobile modules and libraries that serve a wider company ecosystem, where the real engineering starts after the merge, not before it. I care about end-to-end ownership: from architecture to release, from incident to retrospective.
